Composition and Aperture

Composition
For this image we wanted to use patterns to create a aesthetically pleasing image. We used an aperture of F.11, a shutter speed of 1/320 and an ISO of 6400.

For this image we used natural framing with the large doors and created a silhouette with a creepy, unnerving feel. We used an aperture of F.11, a shutter-speed of 1/80 and an ISO of 6400.

For this image we used an aperture of F.18, a shutter-speed of 1/80 and an ISO of 6400. This created an almost silhouette effect.

For this image we used filling the frame by having Ramon fill the entire shot and have him be the focus of the image. We used an aperture of F.18, a shutter-speed of 1/20 and an ISO of 6400.

For this image we wanted to create a break in the pattern of the bricks as well as use figure to ground by contrasting the dark colours of the figure's clothes with the lightness of the background. We used an aperture of F.11, a shutter speed of 1/320 and an ISO of 6400.
Aperture

For this image we wanted to take a picture where only the subject is in focus with the background slightly blurred. We used aperture of F.4.5, a shutter-speed of 1/80 and an ISO of 100.

For this image we tried to make everything in focus. We used an aperture of F.16, a shutter-speed of 1/60 and an ISO of 6400.

For this image we wanted to create a sun star but it was too cloudy outside to dark, so we used an artificial torch light on a phone instead and created this with an aperture of F.16, a shutter-speed 1/80 and an ISO of 6400.

For these three images, we tried to use natural framing and different apertures to show how aperture can affect the same image. For the first image we used F.22, the second F.11 and the last F.4. The shutterspeed was 1/320 and the ISO was 6400 for all of the pictures
